Made in the British Isles. Black Tourmaline, or Schorl, is revered as the premier talisman for deflecting and dispelling negative energies. Practitioners of Crystal Healing state that it is particularly helpful to electro-sensitive people, as it blocks the effect of electromagnetic fields (EMFs) and geopathic stress (GS). This is believed, by some, to be possible because the crystal is piezoelectric (meaning it can store an electrical charge).

The shield pendant that holds the crystal was cast in solid sterling silver from a hand carved prototype. The shield measures 3cm, a little over an inch, long. It comes on a solid silver 20” chain. The pendant and chain have been oxidised and then polished to give then an antique appearance.

All of my silver jewellery is made from solid Sterling Silver (silver with a purity of at least 92.5%). It does not contain any lead or other harmful materials.
